Frequently Asked Questions
First-Timers
Have never done go-karting — what's it like?
Real track, real speed, real turns. It’s not a slow ride around a parking lot.
Are the go-karts electric or gas?
All electric. Faster off the line and no exhaust smell inside the building.
How fast do the go-karts go?
We’ll post exact speeds at scoreusa.com before we open. Indoor electric karts at most venues run somewhere between 25 and 45 mph.
Do I need a license or any experience?
Nope. Staff walk you through it before you hit the track.
How long is a session?
Booking and Pricing
How do I book go-karting at Score?
Booking opens at scoreusa.com before we open late summer 2026. Sign up and we’ll let you know when it’s live.
How much does it cost?
Pricing goes up at scoreusa.com before opening day. Call (281) 713-4530 if you want to talk it through ahead of time.
Should I book ahead or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome but go-karting fills up fast on weekends. If you’ve got a group, just book ahead.
Are there group packages?
Can go-karting be part of a birthday party?
Safety and Rules
Is go-karting safe?
Safety barriers, staff on the floor, and a pre-race briefing before every session. We take that part seriously.
Is there a minimum age or height requirement?
Can younger kids ride along?
What should I wear?
What are the track rules?
Events and Occasions
Is go-karting good for a corporate outing?
Put a group of coworkers in racing karts and see what happens. It gets competitive pretty fast. See the corporate events page for group options.
Good for a bachelor or bachelorette party?
Racing and two full bars without leaving the building. That’s a pretty solid night out in Humble.
Can we get a private track session?
Private options are still being confirmed. Email info@scoreusa.com or call (281) 713-4530 and we’ll figure it out.
Is Score the only indoor go-karting near Humble TX?
Right now, yes. K1 Speed is the closest alternative and they’re 25 to 30 miles away in Houston.
When does Score open?
Late summer 2026 at Deerbrook Mall in Humble TX. Sign up at scoreusa.com and we’ll keep you in the loop.
